The dispatcher Alan Paterson in 1984. He had to deal with customers and drivers of three companies: Lansdowne, Regal, and Westmount taxi. No computer system Again, all done by hand. Fortunately for him, even combined these three companies were far from the radiation of large organizations such as Diamond or Lasalle, they served mainly Westmount and Notre-Dame-de-Grace.
Despite the fact that they are satisfied to better compete, they could not resist and both have seen their names disappear completely, Lansdowne and Westmount taxi. As for Regal, although still a number to the directory, the taxi way and at Regal Pontiac and signs have long disappeared from the roofs of taxis Montrealers.
